Logan MacIsaac is a Halifax based cinematographer who loves to capture the beauty of each moment.
Logan’s multidisciplinary approach, allows him to take on various roles on a production, including directing, audio recording, drone operation, and editing.
Constantly evolving and growing with each opportunity and experience, Logan strives to tell your wedding story in a romantic and stylistic fashion.
In addition to wedding cinematography, Logan has worked with a number of corporate clients such as South West Properties, Sport Nova Scotia, Ovarian Cancer Canada and more.
Whether he’s working on a large or a small scale project, Logan brings the same level of passion and commitment to each and every production.
When he is not behind a camera, Logan can be found enjoying his time with his newborn son Griffin, his fiancée Carolyn and their two dogs Thor and Ziggy.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Absolutely! All collections are tailor made and therefore, if you'd like to add Logan's cinematography services onto an existing or new collection, we'd love to arrange this. In advance, we like to get everyone together over a brief consultation to ensure that all of your questions are answered.
For current clients, cinematography will be added at your request to your existing payment schedule.
As with all wedding collections where we're capturing destination celebrations or those that are slightly further afield, please mention this at the inquiry stage to ensure a Bespoke Collection can be tailor-made to suit your requirements. On most occasions, travel will be built into your quote.
As a guide, travel is charged out with 100 km of Halifax at a rate of $0.65 per kilometer, or the "Day of" rate as charged by the province of Nova Scotia.
Your Highlight Film and any additional pre-agreed footage will be ready for viewing between 6-8 weeks of your wedding. Full links will be provided within this timeframe.
Highlight Films are approximately 2-3 or 4-5 minutes in length depending on the number of hours covered during your wedding day. Audio services are also available which ensures those important moments are captured such as vows and speeches.
Full Speeches are available as an option to add on as a seperate service.
Please note that Raw Footage is not provided. We wholeheartedly believe in providing exceptional end-to-end editing services, and colour grade your films specifically to match your photographs.
In addition, only licensed music and soundtracks are selected to ensure that there are no copyright infringements.
Full payment is due approximately one calendar month before the wedding. The standard studio policy for clients to retain cinematography services on the date of their wedding is 25% of the contract amount. The remaining payments will then be divided equally into increments or "instalments" that are spaced equally between the date of booking and a month before the wedding. Additional instalments can be added on request.
All bookings will be confirmed once a retainer is paid and a signed contract has been received. Please note, all deposits are non-refundable and are used to secure your date in the calendar.
A standard 15% HST is applied to all prices listed in line with the current rate of HST within Nova Scotia.
Please note that all payment methods are accepted, from e-transfer, cash, cheque, and all major credit cards. Should you wish to pay by credit card online, please note there is a third party 3% handling fee applied to any transaction.
As a rule of thumb, Logan has a multitude of cameras and backup cameras that facilitate his work as a cinematographer.
"I primarily use Sony camera bodies with prime lenses, and the DJI Air2S and DJI Mini 3 Pro drones are chosen to produce aerial videography. Should you wish to add a second cinematography associate to our team, we'd be happy to assist you in this area. The benefits of shooting with multiple videographers parallel the benefits of working with multiple photographers; we can capture different angles and perspectives at the same time to ensure complete coverage."
We always love to surprise our wedding clients with a short 45 second clip of their big day which can be shared with family, friends, or on social media. This can take up to one week to produce. During the busy wedding season, please note that sneak previews may take longer to produce but will be sent to you prior to your final Highlight Film. Should you require a more prompt sneak preview due to publication requirements, please mention this during our consultation.
