THE J/A JOURNAL

reliving the moments
that count

Capturing these women as their most creative and inspired selves, over 6 hours, was a complete joy for me. I enlisted the support of the talented Naphtali Carleton Makeup Artist who helped these incredible women feel their most glamorous http://naphtalicarleton.com

It’s becoming something of a ritual or tradition, to meet this gorgeous family on Tyninghame Beach in Scotland each Spring. I’m forever grateful that Gwen and her beautiful family have chosen me to document some of their most precious memories..

It was a special occasion for all of us involved, from the dress designer to the venue and the bridal headpieces. The dress and boudoir pieces were custom made specifically for this editorial, as well as the headpieces, the stationary and the venue. The Halifax Club used to be run as a mens only establishment, so there was something so poetic about the fact that everyone involved in curating the day was female.
