Our story was inspired by new seasons and the 1960’s – specifically Spring, and the youth, sweetness and love between this beautiful couple.

To my goddess Alcyone… 
await my return where the tides meet the earth, 
next to the cliff where the gulls perch. 
The very same place I professed my undying love for you – 
the stars and the midsummer sky as witnesses.

It was a special occasion for all of us involved, from the dress designer to the venue and the bridal headpieces. The dress and boudoir pieces were custom made specifically for this editorial, as well as the headpieces, the stationary and the venue. The Halifax Club used to be run as a mens only establishment, so there was something so poetic about the fact that everyone involved in curating the day was female.
