Melissa and Daniel reached out to me in January 2018 to capture their wedding photography at Ashburn Golf Course in August of this year, and I’m so delighted they did! This session was included in their investment with me and I’m always delighted to capture real, honest, true love. Set on Lawrencetown Beach just outside of Halifax, it was a bright sunny day for their engagement but boy, was the ocean cold that day – I never ask my clients to do something that I wouldn’t, so we all jumped in!
The way that Daniel looks at Melissa is like something from a storybook! On seeing these images, it was commented that their “essences were captured” and this sums up my entire driving existence as a photographer; to capture the essence of your love and your story.
I knew as soon as we started to arrange their session that Melissa and Daniel wanted to spend an afternoon playing on the beach, and so we did just that.
