AN INTIMATE EDITORIAL IN COLLABORATION WITH LITTLE FOOT YURTS
Often when you think of Boho inspired weddings, there will be earthy colours, flower crowns and macrame gowns but we wanted to shine a spot light on the concept of an elegant full experience, multi-day wedding using these beautiful heritage yurts and stretch tents. The location we opted for was the Annapolis Valley in Autumn, where nature meets modern luxury.
The best thing about this type of experience-led wedding is that you get to enjoy the untamed, unique parts of the world. The Annapolis Valley is one of Nova Scotia’s prime spots for maritime weddings; offering breathtaking vista’s of the Minas Basin, a backdrop of lush farmlands and plenty to occupy your guests with vineyard tours, hikes and fishing trips. And so, it only seemed fit to travel to Little Foot Yurts to shoot on location at their site. Using their traditional yurts and their stretched tent, we were able to showcase how to divide your wedding into sections; and have guests stay on-site for the whole weekend. We were inspired by a free-spirit boho mindset, still with a touch of luxury and glam.
