I remember when we first moved to Nova Scotia. It was autumn, early November, and we spent our first night, sipping G+T’s from plastic cups, overlooking the ocean.

We’d never anticipated that our first place here would include an epic view of the bay, but here we were… the allure of the coastline captivated us, as it still does to this day. Every time I’m able to take in the salt air and explore Nova Scotia’s beaches and shores, it takes me back to that special moment – I immediately remember why there’s such a love affair with the waves here. There’s a reason why we’re called “Canada’s Ocean Playground”. Engagement sessions can typically take place at any time during the year, but there’s nothing more special than celebrating with a Nova Scotia Coastal Engagement session.

The picturesque beaches of Nova Scotia offer so many exquisite photographic opportunities against a backdrop of natural beauty. So, when Courtney and Nick suggested we explore Crystal Crescent together for their engagement session, I couldn’t wait to get started. Typically – the rain came. July into August was a washout this year – in fact, we’ve had the wettest summer on record. But we held out, and that patience paid off in spades. I can’t wait to celebrate with them again in Spring 2024.
