Despite being in this business for years now, 2022 has offered many “firsts” when it comes to shooting at beautiful locations.

In July, I was welcomed to capture the first wedding at a brand new venue here on the East Coast; Bull Point Estate. Its picturesque, cove-side location with unspoiled views of the ocean did not disappoint! Situated around an hour and 30 minutes from Halifax, the venue has two lodgings, as well as one main event space. Soaring cathedral ceilings and glass windows provide the ultimate photographer’s dream.

I first met Jessica in person only a few days before her wedding, but having booked her date almost a year beforehand, it felt like we knew each other immediately. We ran through the particulars of the day over a glass of wine and before we knew it, we were already packing the car to head to Bull Point.
